SUNDAY, NOV 19TH - 6.30AM

Ashtanga Mysore Self Practice for All

Mysore style self-practice is the traditional format for practicing Ashtanga Yoga. 

We will practice in multiple shifts starting 6.30 AM until 11 AM. Groups will be created closer to the date based on your needs and practice level.

MONDAY, NOV 20TH - 6.30AM

Ashtanga Mysore Self Practice for All

TUESDAY, NOV 21ST - 6.30AM

FRIDAY, NOV 24TH - 9.30AM

Ashtanga Full Led Primary Series

Using the traditional Sanskrit count and focusing on the rhythm of the breath, David and Jelena will lead you through the entire Primary Series, with lots of helpful cues along the way. 

FRIDAY, NOV 24TH - 1.30PM to 3.30PM

W1: Breathing Moving System

The vinyasa system provides the defining structure for the Ashtanga practice. David and Jelena will provide an overview of the goal of Ashtanga and the vinyasa meditation and also show you 5 transformational techniques to help you work on deepening the vinyasa in your practice.

FRIDAY, NOV 24TH - 4.00PM to 6.00PM

W2: Sun Salutations

The Sun Salutations contain Ashtanga’s prototypical vinyasa sequence and foundational postures. Working correctly in each of the postures is essential to the healthy longevity of your practice. David and Jelena will provide an in-depth look at healthy alignment and traditional coordinates for these key poses.

SATURDAY, NOV 25TH - 10.00AM TO 12.00PM

W3: Ashtanga Fundamentals

Take a deep and detailed look at the alignment and work of Ashtanga’s opening sequence of postures. Study the exact vinyasas that connect each of the poses, and learn new ways to deepen the work and progression of your daily practice.

SATURDAY, NOV 25TH - 2.00PM TO 4.00PM

W4: Knees Hips and Forward Bends

Ashtanga’s Primary Series is full of forward folds and knee bends. Correct technique and alignment is important in order to avoid injuring the hamstrings, lower back, or knees. This workshop will explore the different aspects of the Primary Series forward bends with the goal of keeping the body safe. Great for all levels.

SATURDAY, NOV 25TH - 4.00PM TO 6.00PM

W5: Jump Backs & Jump Throughs

Jump backs and jump throughs are the transitional movements that link Ashtanga's sitting poses together. These vinyasas provide a bridge to carry our focus between asanas, and also build a purifying heat in the body that is said to “boil the blood” This workshop will go over the actions and movements of the jump-back and jump-through in close detail, and provide invaluable instructions useful for all levels of practitioners.

Cancellation Policy

If students cancel their attendance 30 days before the workshop starts, they will receive a full refund, minus 10% processing fees.​ Later cancellations will be evaluated case by case.

EXCEPTIONS

If any medical reason occurs, you can request a cancellation for medical reasons. A medical certificate should be provided.

If David & Jelena, or the Yoga House cancel any of the programs, students will receive a full refund.
